BGP conducts technical seminar on seismic technology

BGP Oil and Gas Services LLC, a joint venture between BGP International China and local company Rees Oil & Gas Services LLC, held a Technical Seminar on Seismic Acquisition Technology, successfully at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Muscat On 8th August 2006.

BGP has completed three years seismic operation experience in Oman, and has more than ten years experience in Middle East.

In this Seminar, BGP's senior technical staff gave an introduction of BGP's advanced geophysical techniques. The topics covered included BGP Technology and experience, 3D/3C Borehole Seismic, Multi-Component Exploration, 4D Processing Technique, and E M Sounding. Most of the oil exploration companies, such as Petroleum Development Oman (PDO), BG Group, Daleel Petroleum, Circle Oil, Oman Hunt Oil Company, Zakoil, participated in this Technical Seminar. All of them showed great interests in BGP's advanced geophysical techniques and actively discussed with the experts from BGP.
