Malaysia seeks Mideast investors

Malaysia is seeking investment from the Middle East and has approved an Islamic currency swap and has set up a real estate investment trust which is Shariah compliant, reported Bloomberg. Kuwait's Global Investment House has revealed that it sees investing in Malaysia as an interesting opportunity and is actively considering buying Malaysian Islamic REITs. Malaysia is showcasing its Islamic finance products at a conference this week in Kuala Lumpur.
