The Human Recourses Department, in coordination with the UAE Red Crescent Society, organized an event at the DTCM Head Office for the "With You Lebanon' campaign.
Ms. Oasha Kahail, DTCM Executive Employee Relations, said: "Young UAE nationals who are working at the DTCM Head Office as summer trainees were utilized to meet the staff members and collect their voluntary cash donations for the humanitarian programme."
Each staff member was given flyers and informative literature highlighting the sufferings of the people in Lebanon due to the war. They contributed cash donations through envelopes which were late collected by the summer trainees.
A team from the Sama Dubai TV covered the event to inspire others for the humanitarian efforts required for the people of Lebanon.
