Saudia begins privatisation

Saudi Arabian Airlines has commenced the initial stages of its plans to privatise five of its sectors, reported Reuters. The company today began to accept bids for a stake of up to 49% in its catering division. Interested parties have until September 27 to tender bids and Saudia hopes to have completed the entire privatisation scheme by the end of next year.
