Esca fines Sorouh

The Emirates Securities and Commodities Authority has fined Sorouh Real Estate Dhs100,000 for not disclosing its H1 results on time, reported Gulf News. This is the first time a listed company has been fined by Esca, although firms have been warned on previous occasions. Sorouh, and six other companies, missed the July 31 deadline for disclosing results but all, except Sorouh, did so by the agreed extension of August 10.
