Zee TV introduces Middle East Masti Band

As part of its expansion plans in the Middle East, Zee Telefilms International, the Middle East arm of India's leading television network Zee TV, is now introducing a special Middle East Masti Band from 8 pm to 10 pm every Friday night starting from 18 August 2006.
The Middle East Masti format will kick off on 18th August with Zee TV's premier show - Anthakshari Middle East Masti. The channel has also been filming popular shows such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa - Middle East Muqabala in Dubai and was one of the first in its genre for local programming.
Zee TV's move to create the band comes after a series of other recent developments to reinforce the network's growing focus on this region. According to Yogesh Radhakrishnan, Managing Director and CEO Real Media - Zee Network "Middle East has always been on our top priority list, we have always taken this region very seriously For example, we have made major investments in our infrastructure and have brought some of our top shows to Dubai and customized them for the region. Now, we are taking another step in this direction by introducing the Middle East Masti Band" This would come very relevant to the viewers of this region especially with the introduction of the Friday to Saturday weekend from September.
