The multi-million Dirham investment in this state-of-the-art, yet easy to use, system will ensure the electronic clutter is kept to a minimum. The low voltage cabling, which will be installed as part of the interior fit-out of the residential towers, will make Tiara Residence homes into smart homes, with several functions that can be operated indepently from room to room.
Speaking of their decision to go with the Opus 500 system, Mohammed Ali Al Hashimi, Executive Chairman of Zabeel Investments, said:
'Tiara residents are paying a premium for their homes, and deserve the very best and most innovative solutions. Opus 500 will take the hassle out of operating their in-home entertainment systems, while allowing them the opportunity to customise operations throughout the home.'
The system works by cleverly learning all the remote control codes of existing audio-visual products, allowing them to be operated in any room around the property via wall keypads or the Opus remote control handsets. Users can enjoy up to five separate audio-visual sources and one built in radio tuner independently or simultaneously through discrete high quality ceiling mounted speakers and any brand of TV or plasma display. In addition to this a local input point is provided in each main room allowing the connection of in independant audio source i.e. MP3 player or games console for that room.
The system can also be used as a wake up alarm through integrated clock displays in the wall mounted key pads. Owners will be able to enjoy 'party' mode, allowing them to control the music in each room when entertaining or 'telephone mute', through connection to standard land line, which will mute the system when a call is received.
Steven Simpson, Project Manager at Opus Technologies Ltd., said of the system: 'The operating simplicity and availability of add-on options for Opus 500, makes it the perfect home partner, be it for individuals or families, the system can be used anywhere in the home, including the bathroom. The proliferation of electronic lifestyle devices is cluttering homes with gadgets and cables; Opus 500 ensures that everything is combined for simplicity and tucked away for neatness.'
