GCC needs collaboration

Dubai's Patient Safety Congress, which will be held from September 17-19, will highlight the need for closer co-operation between GCC countries to stop the spread of diseases like bird flu and also antibiotic resistant micro-organisms, reported Gulf News. Ziad Memish, Director of the GCC Centre for Infection Control in Riyadh, said that collaborative action was essential and the congress should help play a part in that.
