Microsoft Gulf appoints Delta as retail distribution partner

Delta is Microsoft's retail distribution partner in the GCC, and will be responsible for promoting and distributing the complete range of Microsoft Retail products across the region.

The appointment of Delta marks a new focus on the retail sector for Microsoft. As a dedicated distributor for retail products, Delta will work closely with major retailers in the GCC to promote Microsoft Retail products, and will also have specialist staff who will help retailers to manage their in-store displays.

'Microsoft's retail products, particularly the mice and keyboards, have been successful in the region for some time, but as high quality products that incorporate leading edge technology, we feel that we need a specialist partner who understands the retail market and how to position our products properly. Delta has the expertise that we require, and we are very glad to have created this new partnership with them,'

The Microsoft Retail product range includes high-definition optical and laser mice; high-end ergonomic and multimedia keyboards; precision gaming controllers; and finger print scanners and the new LifeCam web camera range. The range also includes retail software such as Encarta.
