Doosan confident of $1.2bn Dubai deal

South Korean firm Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction is set to win a contract worth $1.2bn to build a 2,000 megawatt power plant in Dubai, afer it was the only bidder, according to Bloomberg. The world's largest builder of desalination plants also made the lowest bid, at $729m, for the desal faclity. Dewa is expected to announce the contract by 28 November. The plant, known as M Station, will be the largest in Dubai.
