OFIS installed equipment using international furniture brands to create a present-day functional and ergonomic work environment. 75 workstations, 21 executive cabins, a comprehensive boardroom and two meeting rooms were designed using the Unifor Naos range at EFG-Hermes.

Ajai Dayal, General Manager, Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group, said: "The Unifor Naos system is recognised the world over for its functional and appealing design. By combining ergonomic detailing and safety with correct wire management, as well as providing large storage spaces, this system offers an inspiring office environment to help enhance employee productivity."

"With EFG-Hermes Bank setting up its first office in Dubai, our challenge was to make a strong design statement that would attract both customers and visitors in the UAE," added Dayal.

Another recent project executed by the OFIS team was the Standard Chartered Bank at Shata Towers.178 workstations, a boardroom and two meeting rooms were furnished using brands Unifor Mood and Panelli systems.

Stressing on the need for a modern work environment, Mr. Patrick Foord, Group Head, Corporate Real Estate Services, Standard Chartered Bank, said: "Offices in the UAE can now opt for the latest trends in contemporary design with OFIS's extensive range of office solutions. The range we've chosen - Unifor Mood and Panelli systems - fitted our requirements perfectly as the furniture is extremely modern with straight clean lines."

"The execution of this kind of finish demands expertise, both in terms of design as well as manufacture. We have kept in mind the long working hours of bank employees and the need for storage space to deal with large volumes of documentation," said Dayal.

Other projects which will use Unifor-Naos in Dubai include the second EFG Hermes branch at Emirates Towers, Bloomberg at DIFC, DIFC corporate offices, Shell Markets and Procter & Gamble.
