21 Prominent Arab Artists auction their artwork to aid Lebanon

Creativearab, a new leading-edge online portal which showcases the work of Arab artists, announced the first campaign of a series focused on raising funds for charitable organizations throughout the region.

21 prominent Arab artists in the UAE will auction their paintings and artwork for the aid of Lebanon.

Participating artists are:
Abdul Qader Al Rayess, Dr. Najat Makki, Thaier Hilal, Hakim Al Ghazali, Abdul Raheem Salem, Abdul Qader Hassan Al Mubarak, Ahmed Heylouz, Azza Al Qubaisi, Diaa Eideen Al Doush, Hakim Al Ghazali, Ismail Al Rifai, Jeffar Khaldi, Khalil Abdul Wahid Abdul Rahman, Khalid Al Mikdadi, Majida Nasreddin, Riyadh Matwq, Tagelsir Hasan, Talal Moualla, Wessam Al Hadad, Yaser Safi and Yousef Dweik.

Hussein Hallak, Creative Director of Creativearab, and organizer of the event, stressed, 'The importance of the auction is the powerful link between the art community in the Arab world and the people of Lebanon.' Hallak added that, 'Art is expression, an organ of human life. The situation in Lebanon compelled us to assist those who are suffering. Utilizing our resources, we chose to extend the Creativearab UAE exhibition, and auction some of the paintings for the benefit of Lebanon.'
