BBC recruits for Arabic TV

BBC World Service has started recruiting senior editorial staff for its Arabic television service which starts autumn 2007. The broadcaster is initially looking for output editors and a news editor. Applications can be made through www.bbc.co.uk/jobs. BBC Arabic TV will initially broadcast for 12 hours a day, free to air, through cable or satellite connection. BBC news and information in audio and text in Arabic will run for the other 12 hours.
