It's a Goodyear for OMD

Following a two-way review, Goodyear, one of the world's leading global tyre brands, has appointed OMD to handle its Middle East media investments and stimulate the growth of its business in the region.

The Middle East is the next region to receive Goodyear's latest innovations. This motivated the search for a reliable partner to manage the development of its activities in the region through effective marketing and media management.

'OMD has impressed us with their holistic approach of the business,' said Jacek Pryczek, general manager of Goodyear Middle East.

Thanks to a robust experience of the automotive sector, OMD presented a powerful combination of traditional and ground-breaking media solutions. Another factor that contributed to OMD driving away with the business is the 360,,a approach to service and advice.

'OMD showed us they understood the tyre business and cared about going the extra mile to develop the business in this region,'


added Boris Stevanovic, Goodyear Middle East's marketing manager. 'Our goal is to have a more focused and structured approach to the marketing of our brands and we believe that OMD can help us to achieve this.'

OMD's mission will be to make a difference between the various brands in what is commonly regarded as a generic category by elevating the interest levels. Goodyear's track record in innovations and performance provides ample material to achieve this.
