Bahraini Ministry of Interior delegation visits RTA

H.E. Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla, Deputy Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) and CEO of Public Transport Agency was recently visited by Lt. Col. Khalid Rabea Senan Al Dossary, Director of Licenses Affairs representing the Ministry of the Interior from the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Also present at the meeting was Abdulla Al Madani, CEO of Corporate Support Services to discuss the various upcoming projects of the RTA like the Dubai Metro.

With a common vision between UAE and Bahrain to develop new concepts and services that optimize traffic flow and maximize safety to meet the needs of all sectors of society, this meeting proved to be promising, as its objectives were based on the construction of new transportation routes and projects like the Dubai Metro and the optimization of the existing ones.

Mr. Al Mulla said,

"The RTA is committed towards achieving and adopting the best practices at every stage that will lead to the achievement of our objectives of making transport in our countries safe and secure and will contribute in highlighting the presence of the Emirate globally. This visit of the Lt. Khalid has been an honor for us and it has facilitated the exchange of ideas on developing the transport sector."


"UAE in general and Dubai in particular is witnessing huge developments which have resulted in the influx of people and businesses. We are thus obliged to provide the required infrastructure to support this burgeoning development," Al Mulla concluded.

During the meeting, Mr. Al Mulla presented a crystal miniature with RTA logo to the head of Bahraini delegation.

The appointment concluded with Lt. Khalid paying a visit to the Licensing Department and its various sections in the RTA. He met Mr. Saeed Khamis Ibrahim, Manager of Vehicles Licensing and Masood Mohammed Hashim, Manager of Drivers Licensing where he was acquainted with the procedures and rules for vehicle licensing and the RTA's Driving Institutes.
