Etisalat international licence bid

An Etisalat consortium, which recently paid $2.9bn for Egypt's third mobile phone licence, will also tender for an international telecomminication service licence from the Egyptian governement, Chairman Mohammad Omran told Gulf News. The tender will take place in Q4 2006, and is likely to attract international and regional players.
