A new report, "The Online Presence of FTA Satellite Channels in the Arab World" was released to the Arab Advisors Group's Media Strategic Research Service subscribers on May 17, 2006. This report can be purchased from the Arab Advisors Group for only US$ 950. The 23-page report, which has 18 detailed exhibits, analyzes types of FTA satellite channels' online presence. This report also highlights the features that enhance a channel's online presence for every program type. The final section discusses how corresponding websites and portals generate additional revenue for satellite channels.
Any investment in this report will count towards an annual Strategic Research Service subscription should the service be acquired within three months from purchasing the report.

"What distinguishes a channel's corresponding portal from a website is the level of integration between the FTA satellite channel and the accessibility of the channel's content and services online." Explained Ms. Lina Juma, Arab Advisors Research Analyst. "Arab Advisors Group's analysis shows that a majority of channels with an online presence have an enhanced presence. Having said that, many satellite channels with basic online presence demonstrate plans to enhance their services".
