Fuel prices rocket in Iraq

Fuel prices in Iraq have shot up due to supply shortages and widespread corruption, reported Gulf News. 20 litres of petrol should officially cost around $3.50, but current prices have escalated to around $20 as the nationwide shortage has worsened. Petrol station employees also regularly work with black market dealers to bump up prices and share profits.
