It will also update information on the latest studies and developments that have occurred in this field
Dr Ali Singel, Director of Medical Services Department at Dubai Police and chairman of the medical conference and one of the elite practitioners in this field, said that the conference can be considered an important occasion coming at the end of 2006, that sheds light on aspects of opposing aging and on ways on how to adapt to aging with the help of new discoveries and inventions. He pointed out the event will highlight techniques, technologies and treatments being used in a field of vital concern in contemporary life.
Dr Singel noted the conference has attracted more than fifteen star speakers from all over the world, who have been chosen with respect to their proficiencies in their specialties. Their thoughts and views are sure to be beneficial to different sectors, companies and people who will participate in the conference.
Attendees can look forward to the most recent and critical information at the conference, which will make it a significant platform for the medical sector in the field of aging, he said. Dr SINGEL also pointed out that the workshops for the congress have been chosen with care by a professional team. Topics that have special resonance in the Gulf and Arab region have been included for discussion, he emphasized.
Mrs. Nada Jaber, Managing Director of Etisal Event Management, event organizer, said that the inspiration for the conference came from the fact that aging has become a big threat to self-image and efficiency in the modern world. "The fact that many medical developments have occurred that can combat this also significantly led us to arrange this conference," she said.
Through its strategic tie-up with National Vision Co., Saudi Arabia, which also is an event organizer, Etisal is planning to make this conference an annual event, aiming for the maximum impact in the region.
Mrs. Nada Jaber also said that the patronage of the Minister of Health of the United Arab Emirates and the sincere support that the conference has from him in addition to the active participation of the Department of Medical Services in Dubai Police, points to its importance. "That Dubai is hosting it is an indicator of the fact that the Emirate is not only a business destination but is also becoming a medical destination," she added.
The nature of the conference ensures that along with being a place for exchange of views and information, it will also be an occasion for companies to exhibit their products.
