Thuraya 3 set for take-off

The UAE based Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Company's Thuraya 3 satellite, which is being launched next January, should be operational three months later, reported Gulf News. As the satellite will cover markets in the Far East and Australia, just like its predecessor Thuraya 1, the company is planning to open an office in Singapore to manage its additional business in the region.
