Proxim powers wireless network for Dubai Internet City

To augment its business infrastructure and provide broadband wireless Internet access for its member enterprises, DIC has a public Wi-Fi network powered by Proxim's AP-4000 and Tsunami MP.11 products. The AP-4000 access points were selected because of its support for roaming and for voice over IP (VoIP), its dual-radio architecture, and high output power. Equally important in the selection process was the breadth of Proxim's product portfolio that enabled select complementary access and backhaul products from a single vendor.
