Tameer partake in major Libyan event

The regions leading real estate developer Tameer Holdings, partook in one of Libya's largest events on its calendar this year.
With 2006 being a landmark year for Tameer, which included the announcement and completion of several projects across the Gulf and Middle Eastern region, Tameer's move into the African continent is anticipated to help reinvigorate Libya's infrastructure and the redevelopment of the Libyan real estate Markey & economy.
The agreement for Tameer to establish the approximately $20 Billion project was recently signed under the auspices of the Secretary of the General People's Committee, Dr Al Baghdadi Al Mahmoudi, Mr. Omar Ayesh, Tameer President, and Mr. Hamid Elhouderi general manager of Al Anmaa Economic & Social Fund.
The project being developed by "Tameer International" and "Al Anmaa Economic & Social Fund", through a created joint venture company called Tatweer Real Estate Developments (TATWEER), is expected to benefit Libya in economic, social & trading terms. The development is expected to provide ample job opportunities for individuals of all abilities and experiences and will come under an investment plan that combines the modern on one side and traditional heritage on the other
Speaking of their participation in the event, Mr. Omar Ayesh, President of Tameer Holding, said. "We feel honored to participate this mega Economic Projects, and it is a great privilege to have Tameer and the Al Anmaa Economic & Social Fund participating, to play such an important and significant role in the development of Libya and all sectors of the Libyan community."
The project located in the Eastern Valley that borders the Libyan Capital, Tripoli, on an area that exceeds 40 square kilometer, will be distinguished by its beach that is considered as one of the most beautiful beaches on the coast of the Mediterranean. The development is city sized and includes residential and commercial towers, business centers, tourism, complete residential neighborhood and facilities that comprise of various services such as schools, universities, hospitals, gardens, playgrounds, in addition to entertainment centers, clubs, gyms, amongst other amenities. These facilities will be used when the residential base is completed and is expected to house a population that exceeds half a million people.
The plan will have a unique and developed infrastructure that suits the size and vision of the project and includes the construction of smart homes, which will feature advance technology that will put it on a par with the world's leading international cities.
