$564m GCC glass production

The Gulf Organisation for Industrial Consulting has stated that the investment in flat glass production in the GCC exceeded $564m in 2005. The report also stated that the GCC is considered the future growth area for flat glass due to the recent boom in the construction sector. There are over 75 glass producers in the GCC, with most of them based in Saudi Arabia.
