Saudi output under 9m bpd

Saudi Arabia's crude oil output in May dipped to 8.9m bpd, around 250,000 bpd below consensus estimates, according to global oil database Jodi and cited by agency reports. This output figure is the lowest since January 2005. Saudi scaled back its output in Q2 due to falling demand from oil refiners who commenced seasonal maintenance.
