GE boosts Gulf oil producers

General Electric's Oil and Gas business has entered the oil processing and production sectors in the UAE and Kuwait. In Abu Dhabi, GE is to upgrade gas turbines and compressors at Adnoc's Asab Gas Development gas re-injection plant in order to boost processing and output. GE has also recently supplied 12 fixed bed reactors for the refinery project being developed by the KNPC at Al Zour.
