AUB gets EMV certification

Bahrain's Ahli United Bank has received an EMV certification from MasterCard and Visa, meaning that all AUB ATMs are now capable of processing Visa and MasterCard EMV chip cards. The EMV certification has also been extended to AUB ATMs in the United Kingdom. EMV, a joint initiative between Europay, MasterCard and VISA, uses digital certificate technology to minimize the risk of card fraud.
