DP World narrows US buyers

DP World will settle on a shortlist of six to eight buyers for its US port assets by the end of the week, the Financial Times reported. Investment funds, private equity buyers and port operators are expected to be represented in the mix, including the infrastructure investment fund of Morgan Stanley, the Carlyle Group and Carrix, parent of SSA Marine, a Seattle-based container terminal operator.
