UAE pumps record in May

Russia overtook Saudi Srabia as the world's top crude producer, and production in the UAE hit a record high in May, according to figures by the Riyadh-based Joint Oil Initiative cited by Gulf News. Russia pumped 9.636m bpd in May compared to Saudi's 8.93m bpd. Output in the UAE stands at around 2.6m to 2.7m bpd.
