The new product line by Smeg is aesthetic, with a host of new features. Among the new range is the new piano style refrigerator, which is available in a range of retro styles, such as the Union Jack and '50s styles with colours such as Golden Cream, Magic Silver and Pastel Green. The refrigerators have a gross capacity of 270 to 400 liters; frost-free and auto defrost models are available.
Suresh Nair, General Manager, Jacky's Projects and Appliances Division said the launch of the Smeg refrigerator is in response to evolving consumer tastes.
"Appliance buyers are becoming more demanding and style conscious when it comes to their living space. These models bring a touch of brightness and individuality to a home. Not only stylist, they also have a host of features such as wine racks, tampered glass shelves and ice boxes."
Two other Smeg products that are being introduced to the market are the 60 cm touch control ceramic hob, which has an angled edge glass with four "full power" induction zones, and the 60 cm automatic coffee machine. Other features in the hob include 'high trans' black ceramic glass, 'turbo' button, individual timers for each zone, visual digital display for power level, residual heat and cooking time, front control panel and automatic safety cut-off.
Smeg products are distributed and made available by Jacky's to ensure that the end user is able to enjoy the luxuries and conveniences of home appliances. All products have a warranty period of 1year and are available at all Jacky's Electronics outlets, all leading hypermarkets and dealers.
