The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry is delighted to be returning to Dubai with a group of 14 British companies 10 - 12 September 2006.

The majority of the mission participants are relatively new to Dubai.

The companies on the mission represent a range of sectors and products, these include electrical wiring accessories and electrical products for the construction market, equipment for the welding fabrication industry, fibre optic transmission systems for CCTV networks, specialised thermal and acoustic insulation products for buildings, railways, marine and other industrial applications, L’eau Gos – a collapsible product for carrying a bottle or a can, sanitaryware and bathroom taps, accessories, showers and baths.

A wide range of services are being offered, these include accountancy, architect, environmental consultancy and services, higher education, vocational training, specialised financial investor services, the provision of interim managers and professional staff, and corporate and project finance.

The mission participants have a range of objectives including looking for local representatives, qualified distributors or agents. Some will be researching the market for the first time, others will be building on existing contacts and all will be looking to make new contacts.

The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the UK’s premier Chamber of Commerce. Established in 1881 and with over 3000 members, their mission is to help London business succeed. The Chamber is independent of government and is owned and directed by its customers.

The World Trade Division promotes the business interests of its members in the international marketplace and takes trade missions to the Gulf on a regular basis. The Chamber organises many trade missions worldwide each year. London Chamber looks forward to helping British companies explore business opportunities in Dubai and to building commercial ties between the UAE and the UK.
