George Oommen, Facility Manager GSL, said:
"We are delighted to receive these high quality, efficient and reliable MHE trucks which we believe will bring further added value to our wide range of customers. The five-year lease deal we have signed highlights our commitment to the future and this delivery is just the first phase of a three-part implementation of these vital pieces of equipment."
This first phase delivery includes four different models for use around the warehouse itself.
A low lift Pallet truck (EXU) that prides itself on having maximum ergonomic efficiency with impressive stability and increased safety. This truck is reliable in the most demanding of conditions.
An order picking truck with turret head (MX-X and MX-Q), a modern new generation truck that not only has high levels of driving comfort and safety but uses modern technology to order pick and stack to the highest standards with all movements measured and monitored.
A Rider Reach Truck (FM) which reduces health risks in difficult conditions by having a heated and enclosed driver's cab. An automatic height indicator makes it easy for the truck to approach different shelf heights and increases and turnaround of loads due to the fast positioning with manual height corrections.
And the Electric Forklift truck (RX 20) which boasts a uniformly strong development of power from standstill up to maximum speed.
Added George: "At GSL, our aim is to harness the best possible technology to deliver outstanding cold-chain logistics to our customers, and we believe these trucks will further enhance that message."
