- PRESS RELEASE
Batelco, Bahrain's leading Broadband provider has a tempting offer for new inet Broadband subscribers.
Customers can choose from three Broadband packages offering connectivity at 512Kbps/128Kbps for up to 8GB with additional unlimited connectivity at a reduced speed of 64Kbps for usage above 8GB.
Batelco also offers a 1Mbps/256Kbps - 15GB package for BD40 and a 2Mbps/512Kbps - 20GB package for BD60 per month. Customers can continue to enjoy unlimited use of the net at the reduced speed of 64Kbps once they have reached their GB threshold.
Broadband, based on ADSL (Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line) communication technology enables high speed access to the Internet. One of the major advantages of the service is its full time connectivity - so no more dial up delays or busy signals!
As Broadband doesn't tie up your phone line, as dial up does, your friends and family can always get through and users can make phone calls out, while surfing the net at the same time. Increased speed is also a major asset, with downloads being at least eight times faster than with a standard telephone and modem connection.
"Batelco Inet Broadband will enhance your daily life by opening the door to the worldwide web of information," said Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Ahmed Al Janahi.
"No matter what topic you are interested in, you will find an abundance of information at your fingertips at superfast speeds with Batelco's great Broadband packages."
