Gerry's Dnata signs ground handling accord for charter flights in Pakistan

Gerry's Dnata, the joint venture which provides industry-recognised ground handling expertise at four Pakistani airports, recently signed an IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement with Airport Services Management (ASM) of Sharjah for ASM's chartered flights at Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Lahore airports.

The agreement was signed in Dubai by Ufaq Ali, General Manager Pakistan Gerry's Dnata (left); and Vito Gomes, Managing Director ASM. Also present was Derek Swan, Senior Vice President Dnata Projects.

Ulfaq Ali said:

"This agreement is further recognition of our ground handling capabilities at the major airports of Pakistan and will extend our reputation for reliable, high quality and cost-effective services for passenger, cargo and aircraft handling."


ASM, with extensive global experience in aviation business related services, operates charter services to Pakistan from its regional base in Sharjah.

Gerry's Dnata was the first overseas operation of Dnata - sole ground and passenger handling agent at Dubai International Airport - when it was launched in 1993. Since then, Dnata's expertise has also been exported to operations in the Philippines, Iran, Singapore and Sudan.
