The ADIPEC 2006 Exhibition and Conference will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Over a thousand leading oil and gas companies, from more than 50 countries have confirmed their participation in this premier industry event. The event will also feature participation from energy ministers from the Middle East, as well as senior executives from the global oil and gas industry.
dmg world media, the new owners of ADIPEC announced today that two additional exhibit halls to cater to exhibitor and visitor demand have been added for the 2006 edition, which will take place at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre (ADIEC).
This year's event builds on the success of the previous edition held in 2004 which featured 1,209 companies, from 54 countries, occupying a total gross exhibit area of 30,000 square metres. ADIPEC 2004 was attended by several high-profile visitors including oil ministers from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen and Pakistan.
In a move that highlights the internationalization of ADIPEC following dmg world media's acquisition of the event earlier this year, the 2006 edition adds a further 4 international pavilions to the 11 pavilions that participated in 2004.
Neil Wood, Vice President of Energy for dmg world media said: 'ADIPEC has a track record of being an extremely successful event and the 2006 edition is set to reiterate its status as one of the largest events for the energy sector internationally'.

ADIPEC 2008 will double in size and occupy all the halls in the new International Exhibition Centre that is expected to be completed shortly'.

In parallel with the exhibition, ADIPEC 2006 will also have a conference track. Speakers will also debate the manner in which high technology is permeating into the Middle East and boosting the oil and gas sector.
12th edition of ADIPEC poised to be biggest ever
The 12th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC 2006) to be held 5 - 8 November 2006, is poised to beat all previous records and emerge as the biggest ever ADIPEC since it's inception in 1984.
