Iran, Japan deal within two weeks

Iran's Opec representative Hossein Kazempour Ardebili has told a conference that the country's deal with Japan regarding the Azadegan oil field is now back on, reported the AFP. Last month, it was revealed that a deal was getting closer but price differences have been resolved and the contract should be signed in the next fortnight. Azadegan is expected to pump an initial 150,000 bpd by the middle of 2008.
