Indecent photo crackdown

A Qatari lawyer has warned mobile users in the emirate that sending indecent photos or videos via their handsets could lead to a prison sentence and stiff fines, reported The Peninsula. Users caught taking such pictures or videos, or distributing them, could face up to one year in jail and a fine of up to QR5,000. Some students and teenagers have supposedly been using their phones to take pictures of women.
