HP launches 10-megapixel camera

HP today announced the launch of its Photosmart R967 10-megapixel camera with 7.6cm LCD and 30x total zoom.

The HP Photosmart R967 not only contains the top specifications for a compact camera in its class, HP technology means it's easy to take the best picture possible, every time. The 30x total zoom (3x optical and 10x digital) using HP's Precision lens effortlessly produces amazingly clear photos, while the HP steady photo anti-shake mode makes it almost impossible to take a blurry picture.

"In the digital age you can have a photo captured, printed and framed in a matter of minutes, with that kind of speed we want to ensure that the photo itself doesn't lose it's value," said Amr Hassan, General Manager, Imaging and Printing Group, HP Middle East.

"The objective of the Photosmart R967 is to take every day photos and give them instant quality, variety and life."


HP Real Life technologies include HP's industry-leading, automatic in-camera red-eye removal, Adaptive Lighting Bracketing to bring details out of shadows in high-contrast photos and simple, in-camera panorama stitching of up to five images. Get creative with the Design Gallery, which contains artistic effects and even lets you slim down your subjects!

The camera is now even easier to use with extensive, in-camera help and improved Image Advice, which provides real-time tips on how you could improve your picture.
