As the holy month comes in, Al Diar Siji Hotel swings its doors open to a month-long festivities and surprises.
To begin with, these two outlets will be dressed up in traditional garb with touches of Oriental magic. With ubiquitous fanoos lanterns radiating a calming light creating a serene atmosphere perfect for unwinding with your family and friends. You may sip a cup after cup of healthy Moroccan tea or a heady dose of Turkish coffee under the moon and stars.
The interior of Al Diwan will replicate the look and feel of the season with authentic decor that highlights Middle Eastern culture with mesmerizing touches of classic details. The season will be capped with theme parties to bring the hotel's legion of guests into the proper mood for quiet, but no luxurious, observance of the Holy Month and the glorious Eid Al Fitr Holidays.
The daily Iftar buffet at Al Diwan offers a selection of garden-fresh salad bar, body-nourishing soup station, mouth-watering hot dishes, warm and juicy shawarma, exciting on-the-spot cooking stations, rich desserts and a healthy juice station. Guests are also welcomed with Arabic coffee, dates, a variety of traditional juices, dried fruits, choice of traditionally spiced beverages such as hilba, aniseeds, cinnamon with milk, zaatar, tamarhindi, kamarudeen, tamar and much more.
Guests may choose to dine indoor or al fresco on the terrace with a riveting view of the city skyline. Either way, a bounty of nourishment both for the body and spirit will be there for everyone to partake. The hotel serves the best hommous, moutabbel, tabbouleh, fatoush, foul moudammes, shawarma, oriental mix grills and a wide array of hot dishes. For dessert, there will be mouhallabiah, semolina pudding, oum ali, katayef, balah el sham, crème caramel and sliced fresh fruits of the season.
Al Shourfa will serenade its guests with live Arabic music nightly. The talented Yasser Abbas plays harmonious Oud and keyboards. Complimenting the live cooking stations showcasing Arabic specialties. Daily surprises include a raffle draw at the end of the evening.
