China, Japan diversify out of ME

China and Japan are importing more oil from Africa and Russia in a bid to reduce dependency on Middle East crude, Bloomberg reported. Angola has overtaken Saudi as China's largest supplier this year, and Japanese refiners are buying crude from Russia, as traders move to diversify their supply base.
