"2006 has been a year of continuous growth for Sabre Travel Network Middle East. We have expanded our regional presence and opened a number of new offices in key locations throughout Middle East. The 2006 Mediterranean Travel Fair provides us with an excellent opportunity to highlight some of the most powerful and exciting tools we have introduced to the region that can help agencies expand their range of services and meet the rising demands of the region's evolving travel market, providing them with a more compelling and competitive service proposition,"
said Daniel Naoumovitch, Sabre Travel Network Middle East's chief executive officer.
The products being demonstrated at this year's MTF include MySabre, the web-based booking tool combining traditional products bookable in the Sabre system, such as airlines, car hire, hotels, cruise and rail, with content from the Internet and third-party suppliers; the Sabre Air Suite, the latest fare and pricing solution for travel agents enabling reduced ticketing costs and swifter customer service, at a time when the region becomes more technologically advanced and Internet enabled; and Turbo Sabre - a customisable desktop for high volume agencies focused on maximising efficiency.
"Our participation in the Mediterranean Travel Fair presents a unique opportunity to demonstrate the latest Sabre has to offer in the region. With the Egyptian travel business showing great potential, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions and enhanced technologies in the country, that will empower our customers to accelerate their operational efficiency, enhance their customer services, reduce their cost base and increase their revenues. Our presence in this key market affirms our determination to turn our commitment into delivery," continued Mr. Naoumovitch.
