DCCI receives members of Egyptian Business Council

Abdul Rahman G. Al-Mutaiwee, Dubai Chamber of Commerce Director General yesterday received Engineer Saad Abdul Ghani Chairman of Board of Directors for the Egyptian Business Council, Engineer Taha Mustafa Habib, Vice-Chairman of Board of Directors, Khalid Arafa Jamea, Board Member and Secretary General and Ahmed Othman, Board Member.
The meeting was also attended by Hamad Buamiam, DCCI Deputy Director General, Atiq J. Naseeb, Director of Business Development Department, Sultan Lootah, Acting Director of Business Promotion and Mohammed Al-Khateeb, Business Development Manager.
"The business councils play a pivotal role in widening and developing the trade and economic relations between Dubai and the countries they represent. These councils must work jointly with the DCCI in adopting the best practices, conducting transparency, avoiding bureaucracy and DCCI is fully prepared to deliver all types of support. It is important that the business councils' statutes must not hinder the development of their performance," said Al-Mutaiwee.
Engineer Hisham Abdul Ghani, Chairman of Board of Director for the Egyptian Business Council said: "We all used to receive unique initiatives from the UAE in general and Dubai in particular on all fronts, especially in the economic field where DCCI plays a crucial role and we aspire to activate our performance level, particularly with regards to developing our financial structure and managerial mechanism counsel."
