Senior delegation inaugurates Emirates' services to Beijing

Emirates geared up to celebrate the launch of its daily non-stop services to Beijing with the airline's senior managers travelling to the city earlier today.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Emirates' Executive Vice President Commercial Operations Worldwide was accompanied by Richard Vaughan, Emirates' Senior Vice President Commercial Operations East Asia and Australasia, His Excellency Mr. Gao Youzhen, Consul General of the People's Republic of China and a delegation of journalists from the local media.

In Beijing, Emirates will meet with the local media and commemorate the service with a spectacular gala dinner for more than 600 trade partners.

Emirates has announced a range of special offers to its passengers travelling to the city - First and Business Class passengers receive complimentary stay at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel in Beijing; and Economy Class passengers in the UAE an exceptional introductory fare of AED 1,800 for a round trip from Dubai. In addition, UAE-based passengers who book their Dubai-Beijing tickets online could be one of four lucky ones to win back the entire value of their ticket. Skywards, the frequent flyer programme for Emirates and SriLankan, have announced special Cash-plus-Miles offers.

Emirates is operating the route with its Airbus A340-300, offering 267 seats in a three-class configuration - 12 in First Class, 42 in Business and 213 in Economy - and 13 tonnes of cargo capacity. Emirates flight EK306 departs Dubai daily at 1015 hours and arrives in Beijing at 2200 hours. EK307 departs Beijing at 0005 hours and arrives in Dubai at 0550 hours.
