Targeting the business sector in Bur Dubai, the new location was launched following the success of the first, more intimate outlet on Al Diyafah Street. At the event guests had the opportunity to sample the large range of hot and cold beverages and food including the world famous Original Ice Blended frozen drink invented by the company in 1983.
"The UAE has seen a significant boom in its coffee culture recently therefore competition is high. We believe however that The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has the perfect mix of specialist and unique products and a unique ambiance. We are excited at the prospect of our new venture," said Ismail Akil Abbasi, President & CEO, Dubtrade L.L.C, the licensed franchisee for the UAE.
"We strongly believe that we can make a valuable contribution to the success of the international chain and are dedicated in recreating the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf experience in this part of the world. Plans to open several more outlets in key locations across the UAE over the next six months are under discussion," continued Abbasi.

Founded in 1963 CBTL has over 181 retail stores world-wide. Opening daily at both locations from 7.30 a.m. to 1.00 a.m daily with a late night on Thursday until 2.00 a.m. and serves an extensive range of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages. It also serves breakfast, sandwiches, wraps, salads and a selection of pastries and cakes.
