Siemens, Eutelsat BBC deal

Siemens Business Services has signed a three year contract with Eutelsat for satellite capacity over the UK, continental Europe and the Middle East on behalf of the BBC. The contract which extends an existing 12 month deal, guarantees Siemens a long term lease of 72MHz on Eutelsat's Atlantic Bird 1 satellite. The BBC will be able to gain up to 105,000 channel hours per year.
