Thailand Exhibition doubles participants at Dubai World Trade Centre

The popular exhibition is designed to promote and strengthen trade relations, and offers both business and public visitors an opportunity to sample the best products and services that Thailand has to offer the UAE.

The 200 participants at the Thailand Exhibition represent a 100 per cent increase over last year's exhibition. The participating Thai companies and pavilions broadly represent the following categories - Automobile parts and accessories, Chemical products, Construction material, Electronics, Flowers (artificial and natural), Food and beverages, Footwear, Furniture, Garments, textiles and fashion accessories, Gifts and decorative items, Hardware and machinery, Health and beauty products, Household and kitchenware, Jewellery, Pharmaceutical and sanitary products, Plastics and packaging products and Stationery.

The exhibition will feature Thai government and semi-government organisations - the Department of Export Promotion, the Export Import Bank of Thailand, Thai Airways International Public Co. Ltd., One Tambon One Product (OTOP) and Bangkok Hospital Medical Centre.

Visitors to the exhibition can enjoy Thai cultural programmes, food tasting opportunities presented by award-winning Thai restaurants based in Dubai, and interact with visiting representatives of Thai organisations.

The four-day Thailand exhibition will officially open at 10.00 am on September 10, and will continue until September 13, from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm. While trade visitors have unlimited access to the exhibition, residents of Dubai can visit and shop between the hours of 3.00 and 7.00 pm on the last two days of the event (Sept 12 and 13).
