Nakheel sells $20m Thailand

Nakheel Properties has sold the island of Thailand, one of the 303 islands of The World project, to Profile, a real estate sales and development firm, for $20m, reported Emirates Today. Profile is to spend around $110m developing a 2.8m sqft resort called Jasmine Gardens on the island with completion planned for 2010. Nakheel has now sold around 40% of The World.
