Date set for 2nd IEG energy conference

The International Energy Group (IEG) announced that the 2nd edition of its conference on "Clean and Renewable Energy Technologies" will be held in Dubai at Jumeirah Emirates Towers ,Godolphin Ballroom, in December 4 and 5 ,2006.
"The conference aims to present to government and business a fresh insight into applications of renewable energy technologies, their market perspectives and their contribution to the existing and future energy supply chain" said Zeyad Al Majed, General Manager, IEG.
The theme for the two-day conference is "Energy for life" the mantra that drives IEG's business drive since its launch in September last year. IEG's first conference was the first of its kind in the region to promote clean and renewable energy technologies being the key to true sustainable development in the region.
"The conference program is so specific and provides concrete information, speakers from around the world will present consolidated, custom tailored and practical, proven solutions that can make a significant economic impact." said Zeyad Al Majed.
"We have appointed ITP Events as our Conference Managers to guarantee that delegates will be walking away with knowledge and ideas that are actionable and practical through consciously developed and planned conference settings and networking opportunities with speakers" he added.
Speaking about ITP Events role as Conference Managers, Ken Jamieson, Director of Events at ITP Business said: " The first IEG conference has been a significant turning point in the regions perspective on clean and renewable energy and its role in the future economies of the region. We'll ensure that the delegates experience is positive and makes business sense especially when they can relate and create new ideas for their business from the technologies, insights and winning strategies presented."
