Arnette's latest Autumn/Winter collection of sunglasses for 2006-2007 is now available at Al Jaber Optical.
The label's trademark lightness, wrap-around style frames and on-the-edge styling comes from the brand's first designer and the person from whom the brand gets its name - Greg Arnet. Created in 1992 by this Californian surfer, this eyewear brand has become the choice of the young and the action thirsty. Not only chosen for its extreme durability by those who practise extreme sports, Arnette is a brand that is also ahead in the style stakes.
The models for this season confirm the label's innovative, sports-oriented spirit with the introduction of new plastics, superior quality metals and a unique design that has a combination of both Arnette's fashionable modernity and the durability that can be expected of an eyewear that is used for extreme sports. Classic AN 4070 (Injection-molded acetate)
With its attitude, audacity and competitive spirit, this injection-moulded acetate model embodies the spirit of Arnette. The front has a contour which is curved upwards slightly giving a feminine twist while the arms stand out wide streamlining down near the tips. Both the arms feature the 'A-wing' logo metal insert.
There are eight colour options available in the model, the 335/88 comes in metallic blue that fades into orange with mirrored lenses, the 303/6Q comes in a metallic lead silver frame with mirrored lenses that reflect the colours of a Californian sunset - red, orange, pink and golden yellow. The stylish and sporty 41/71 comes in a glossy black with dark green lenses.
Fashion AN 3044 (Metal)
This model has a large, sleek shape making it look very trendy and fashionable. The look of these shades fuses the fashionable and the sporty serving the purpose eventually for both style and function. These are combined with Arnette's outstanding technical experience with wind and sun protection coupled with extreme lightness. The oversized frame (which is so trendy at the moment) has a bold metal bridge which is complemented by high quality plastic arms both of which show off the metal 'A-wing' logo. Colours in this model are as many as those in the rainbow - seven.
Lifestyle AN 4075 (Injection-molded acetate)
The styling of this model is extreme and assertive. The style features a coloured front accented with a wide metal insert on the wing and the A-wing metal logo boldly visible on the sides of both the arms of the shades. This model is also available in polarised lenses and comes in shades such as a metallic deep red exterior with a polished black interior and flashy mirrored lenses to complete the look. There is also one with a transparent amber frame and amber lenses not to mention another with glossy black and dark grey lenses.
AN 4077 (Injection-molded acetate)
This model is the ultra lightweight one with a very comfortable fit. These sunglasses have a broad, wrap-around style that provides maximum protection and style. The streamlined design flows from wide contoured lenses to wide and durable arms with the 'A-wing' logo stamped on the plastic. The colour palette on this model is varied. The combinations come in matte black with dark lenses, transparent honey-tinted frames with cocoa accents at the temple and brown lenses among a numerous other combinations.
