Registration forms can be picked up in most of the capital's omanoil filling stations as well as the Muscat Club Sports Complex. The omanoil Youth Football School is expecting a big response from children of all nationalities. The Portuguese international coach Fernando Pires will run the School and, thanks to his highly skilled technical team, coaching will be in both Arabic and English.
The groups will be split into 3 main age groups and will run six days a week from September 16th 2006 to June 15th 2007. Each group will train three times a week for a total of twenty hours per month.
Upon registration; each child will even be able to customise his football shirt by choosing his own name and number.
Omanoil Youth Football School head coach, Mr. Fernando Pires, added: "This is a medium-long term project with great potential and it will show results in the years to come. Children will learn not only the technical, tactical or physical side of football, but also the game laws, nutrition and most important fair-play".
Pedro Delfino, SportsPRO General Manager said: "We are urging youngsters of all ages who believe they have a talent for football to register asap as places are limited."
Mr. Delfino added: "Come and join the omanoil Youth Football School and be one of the Champions of Tomorrow".
