Ms. Rosie King, sexual health specialist and sex therapist at St. Luke's Hospital in Sydney, Australia will speak to an impressive international gathering of doctors and media representatives about the findings of a global survey conducted by Harris Interactive which focused on sexual satisfaction levels among couples in more than 27 countries around the world.
'Sexual health is not merely the absence of disease, dysfunction, or infirmity - it's also very much about satisfaction,' said King. 'The Global Better Sex Survey (GBSS) findings have proven a number of theories already held in the industry, but they also shed light on areas where couples can improve their levels of intimacy and so realize greater satisfaction in their personal lives.'
One of the largest global surveys of its type, the GBSS included interviews with 12,563 men and women in 27 countries. The survey was commissioned to quantify sexual satisfaction while gaining insight into the unmet sexual needs and aspirations of participants.
The GBSS findings will be revealed at an international press conference in Cairo on 18 September.
